Throughout the year we perform lots of small shows and take part in other events that we are invited along to, which helps us to teach our members to give back to the community. We aim to try and put on at least one large show a year, some groups do these at our own mini theatre while the advance class puts a show on at the Hazlitt theatre in Maidstone.
Below you can read a bit about some of the larger shows we have performed in the past.

Some of you may have noticed that work has begun on our new temporary dressing rooms, which will also be used for many other purposes including a Sunday school and young mothers club and crèche.
It is a great amount of work but at the end of the day is going to make life much easier for us especially when we put on a show. Also it will mean we will be able to hire out the theatre to other amateur groups to put on their shows, this will help with our core costs of running the building satisfactory.
We have tried getting a hundred people in our current dressing room but being it is only 8ft by 6ft it is quite difficult so you can see how important this work is.
We have been promised much of the funding so far but we still have a shortfall which we hope to fill as we progress.
We are now able to apply for charity status which we will be doing in the next few weeks, at long last and this will enable us to search for much bigger funding to get a more permanent multi use extension put up.
