Throughout the year we perform lots of small shows and take part in other events that we are invited along to, which helps us to teach our members to give back to the community. We aim to try and put on at least one large show a year, some groups do these at our own mini theatre while the advance class puts a show on at the Hazlitt theatre in Maidstone.

Harmony 1 had spent the year learning songs and dances to put smaller shows on around Maidstone and Harmony 2 had put on their first large show in the summer at Harmony Community Arts Centre. Both groups merged this Christmas to put on a spectacular show.
This year has seen a lot more work going into our hall. The floor is now down and we have started to install our own stage lighting system as we have had to borrow all lighting equipment in previous shows.
This show saw a collection of the songs that had been performed during the year from both groups as well as some favourite Christmas songs. Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
After being formed for a little more than 1 year September 2006 saw the first major production produced and performed by Harmony 2 held at Harmony Community Arts Centre.

Harmony Community Arts Centre, sounds good doesn't it? It's tremendous for us in Harmony to be able to say that we have got a home of our own at last.

In January 2001 we finally settled down to serious work on our second show. This was called 'Step in Time' and it was a celebration of music and theatre of the 20th Century.
