Throughout the year we perform lots of small shows and take part in other events that we are invited along to, which helps us to teach our members to give back to the community. We aim to try and put on at least one large show a year, some groups do these at our own mini theatre while the advance class puts a show on at the Hazlitt theatre in Maidstone.
Below you can read a bit about some of the larger shows we have performed in the past.
Our only hope is that it is not too scary for you especially with all the monster characters appearing in it. However they are not real, they are Harmony actors, but please don’t let anyone else know.
I am extremely proud to announce that three of our young members, Fay, Lorraine and Ricky are now attending university or college hoping to make the stage their life. I’m sure you will join me in wishing them every success in their new endeavours. Four more, Hannah, Katie, Paige and Sam are currently planning to start at universities next year specialising in skills Harmony helped to develop.
Harmony is endeavouring to do more in the community, that's why we decided to make the first public performance of Monster-High a special charity evening. The Christmas shows this year will include special party performances for senior citizens, carers of all ages, MENCAP members and the Alzheimer’s society. Your donations will help us to provide refreshments and entertainment for these evenings. So please give generously.
We do hope that you will enjoy our show. Have a safe journey home and don’t worry too much about the bats.
